St. Anne's Council 698
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded in the United States in 1882, it is named in honor of Christopher Columbus and dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. There are more than 1.7 million members in 14,000 councils.
Our Council meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each Month. Rosary services at 6:00 PM. Business meeting starts promptly at 6:30. Compass Club meeting follows the business meeting.
Our Council works closely with the Catholic community in Springfield, providing funds for various projects. Ongoing fundraising activities include our weekly Friday night Bingo, held at the Bingo Emporium, and the rental and catering within our facility.
The newsletter is published monthly and contains informative articles from community groups and KOC committees, as well as provides the schedule for various KOC activities in the upcoming month.
Bingo is held in this state of the art, 15,000 square foot, 600 seat facility 7 days a week. Bingo starts at 6:30 pm Monday - Saturday and 5:00 pm on Sunday's. Doors and concessions sales open 3 hours prior to the first game.
This facility offers completely seperate ventilated areas for Smoking & Non-Smoking Players! Seating for 250 is available in the Non-Smoking Section and seating for 350 is available in the Smoking Section. Smoking is ONLY ALLOWED in the designated Players Smoking Room.
